Some companies are good at developing products to solve problems, and a smart company does not force a fit to a research topic. The key to a Phase I project is having an innovative idea which can be demonstrated to be technical or scientifically feasible with an investment by the federal government.

It is important to identify how this SBIR/STTR project fits into your business and its mission and goals.
